Hi everyone!
Quick journal.
I just finished the HSC today. I shall be waiting for results to come out mid-December.
Overall, the exams were fairly decent. English got off to a good start, General Maths was shocking (but I think it was inevitable that Maths would never count towards my ATAR anyway, haha), Ancient was fine, Music was friggin awesome, Modern was great and my A-Bomb essay ruled, and Visual Arts was so-so (probably my worst exam out of all them, minus Maths, which makes me sad because it's my best subject).
I'm getting my artworks back from the Board of Studies soon, which I'm heaps happy about because I've been missing them all so much. I've had withdrawals, haha.

I'm going to start painting again soon. I bought a canvas the other day and I am currently searching for a subject (my friend suggested David Tennant, which I am definitely agreeable too, haha).
Along with all that art and stuff, guess who's going to start making jewellery again? ME! Hooray! I'll be starting either tonight or tomorrow for sure. I am totally in a cupcake mood right now after these superly cute cupcakes my friend and I had today in the city. They were from this shop [link] on George Street. Amazing fun! I also got a bottle of organic lemonade which was nice but just normal commercial stuff and nothing specialty to the shop or anything. Nice lemonade though. Anyway, jewellery and the like. I'll start an Etsy store as soon as I get some stuff made. Hurrah!

Now I'm off to watch a movie or TV or do something creative.
I will be getting around to replying to comments and commenting on some amazing artworks and thanking people for favourites and watches and everything. I do really appreciate everyone's support and I'm going to make a wonderful surprise tutorial for you guys as a thank you/Christmas present.

Once again, thank you so much for your support and well wishes for my exams this year. You guys are amazing!

Hugs and cupcakes and jellybeans and love,
Mon

I love painting and drawing portraits of people. My favourite artists are Vermeer, Schiele, Toulouse-Lautrec and Monet. I also love and live and breathe music. I enjoy playing the piano and clarinet and attempting to play the guitar and bass. My three most favourite bands and musicians of all time include Van Morrison, Killing Heidi and Jamiroquai. I have a strange dislike for symmetry and maths. I like reading science fiction and fantasy books and books about time travel and magic. I love Jelly Belly jellybeans (particularly the coconut and red apple ones). I also love, love, love cupcakes (especially the pretty ones). I love vintage fashion and wearing pretty dresses. Half of my wardrobe is from Tree of Life. Petticoats are fun. I adore Venice and its loveliness and masks. I don't like having long hair. I "secretly" love *NSync. I enjoy writing, reading, talking and listening. My heroes include Van Morrison, Albert Einstein and Douglas Adams. I love bright colours and jewellery and being happy and watching Disney animation and Pixar movies. I love to watch old classic films as well. My favourite colour is green. I like history and learning about war and politics. I really want to go overseas. I collect quotes, post cards, clothing tags, movie tickets, concert tickets and train tickets. I like shopping and going to the movies and going out for hot chocolate. I like going to the library to study. I love learning. I'm constantly fascinated by the Universe.

Hey are you studying for art? I tried to study this morning and after two hours I realised how useless studying for art is.
By the way, our artworks were marked this week :noes: I'm so nervous now!
P.S. Modern History was friggin AWESOME! I can now officially forget everything, haha.

A sincere artist is not one who makes a faithful attempt to put on to canvas what is in front of him, but one who tries to create something which is, in itself, a living thing.
